Lavender Oatmeal Goat Milk Soap

Lavender Oatmeal Goat Milk Soap
Hello and Welcome to Leaf Love Soaps,

The Goat Milk Lavender Oatmeal soap is handmade and hand cut by me. Every bar is unique but all have added helpful essential oils of LAVENDER. Lavender is said to be antifungal and antiseptic which can aid in skin disorders of acne, and other inflammatory conditions. It can be helpful in healing processes.

The lavender can be a relaxing bath and the smell itself is wonderful with said anti anxiety attributions. I have also added a few organic lavender buds on top for added smell.

The oatmeal is great for irritated skin to help soothe and possibly stop the itching of red irritated skin conditions so it is said.

The oatmeal can be a very mild exfoliator to wash away dead skin cells and help promote new skin cells and providing a very cleaning bath/shower.

The lavender and oatmeal together is an excellent bar and as with all my bars they are large sized. Weighing anywhere from 4.9 oz to 6 oz. They are all hand cut.

The soap is super fatted with Shea butter. The Shea Butter is helpful with dry skin so its great for fall and winter.

The coconut oil provides a great lather too.

All my soaps are made with the finest ingredients for optimal skin nourishment. The goat milk is local and farm raised. Goat milk is sooo wonderful for the skin it provides many vitamins and minerals and can make the skin so soft and moisturized. The lactic acid in the milk promotes the shedding of old cells and new ones begin to form. The vitamins in the goat milk are zinc, alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid which nourish the skin and provide for the skin to absorb the goodness of the goat milk. It feels soft and "silky" as some have described to me. The other vitamins are rich in Vitamins E, C, B1, B6 and B12, amino acids and citric acids. With their combined strength, these vitamins will help the skin be more elastic, rebuild it, help with skin moisture and can slow down aging. The PH of goat milk is very similar to humans and thus helps problematic skin types to promote healing and balance. Plus the lactic and fat acid in milk can easily soothe the itching caused by minor sunburns and dry skin and flaky skin.

Rice Bran oil has many nutrients and vitamins helps to nourish the skin.
Palm Kernel Oil increases lather and hardness and is a great moisturizer.

Castor oil provides a hard bar and can act as a mild germicide. A very small amount is added to the batch.

.The Sustainable Palm Oil helps the bar to last longer.

All my soaps come from non-smoking handmade in a clean environment in a craft kitchen specifically designed for soap making. All soaps are made in small batches to ensure quality.

All the soaps come in a cardboard box made with recycled cardboard. Properly labeled.

The Ingredients of this soap are:
Organic coconut oil, Castor Oil, Olive Oil, Shea butter, Sustainable Palm Oil,
Lye, Fresh goat milk, Organic lavender buds, rice bran oil, organic oatmeal.

The Lavender Oatmeal Goat Milk is also a luxury bar the goat milk just makes it that! Not to mention it smells amazing!!

I have been a little slow at getting the blog up to date at the moment, Dusty was sick from Wednesday until basically last night he is finally all better and can go back to school tomorrow! Yay Of course I am a mom first so that comes first no matter what. Sorry for the delays in updates.

We are now in several more stores I have yet to list but will as soon as I can. We are going back outside to catch some more of these beautiful sun rays and not to mention it is 82 degrees right now, and not a cloud in the sky!

Again Happy Soaping,

Pumpkin Calendula Soap.........For the Love of Fall!

                                                             Pumpkin Calendula Soap

Hello,

I have made this wonderful soap for the fall season, but it is great anytime. I just love anything pumpkin, and the smell of this soap is light with only hints of pumpkin and calendula.

The olive oil I use is infused with calendula flowers to provide the oil in the soap with skin healing properties, for the dry skin, and/or scars. The calendula flowers are soothing and smell so good. Calendula is mild in scent too. There are calendula petals on top too.

I also use annatto seed infused oil to help provide a more orange-yellow to look of the soap. The annatto seeds also provide skin loving "good things" for the skin.

Pumpkin has a lot of vitamin A which can help soften skin and smooth. Vitamin C has an antioxidant. Can help promote new cell production. Pumpkin also contains vitamins E and T.
Pumpkin has been used in acne soaps too.

The Shea butter helps with dry skin so its great for fall and winter.

The coconut oil provides a great lather too.

The pumpkin seed oil is also wonderful for the skin it is also full of skin loving vitamins.

.The Sustainable Palm Oil helps the bar to last longer.

All my soaps come from non-smoking home made in a clean environment in a craft kitchen made just for soap making. All soaps are made in small batches to ensure quality.

All the soaps come in a cardboard box made with recycled cardboard. Properly labeled.
The Ingredients of this soap are:

Peanut Butter Anyone?? Peanut Butter Soap........I mean!

Ok I must admit I am a huge peanut butter fan and so are my boys, well Colby actually requested this one! Kudos to Colby!

Peanut Butter Cold-Processed Soap

Hello I have made peanut butter soap from fresh peanuts, no extra additives, no added fragrances, the bar has a slight smell of peanut butter not strong at all. I would almost say unscented.

I have used canola oil, organic coconut oil, Sustainable palm oil, Peanut Oil, and organic shea butter. The soap has no fragrances or essential oils.

The canola oil contains Vitamin E, an anti-oxidant that will help protect the skin from free radicals, The omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids can help against premature aging and soothe dry, irritated skin.

The Sustainable Palm oil helps to make the bar hard and last longer.

Hello and Happy Fall!! Today I have added to Etsy The Pumpkin Cinnamon Soap

Hello and Welcome to Leaf Love Soaps. I have been making soaps since 2003 here in Gates County North Carolina, I am the mom to nine children and the grandma to three grandchildren. My oldest is 26 and my youngest is 6. My grandchildren are 8, 2, and 3.
I have been a DIY girl most of my life, and have been making soap and body products since 2003. I with the help of my older children would participate in Arts and Craft fairs all over the area. We would sell locally and to friends and family. I have been asked many times among people I just met where can I buy your soap, so I decided to open up an Etsy store so I can provide new friends a direction in where to purchase my soaps at.
I have extensive knowledge in herbs, oils and essential oils. I try my best at coming up with recipes for soaps to ensure the best products and the benefits mother nature has provided us with.

I like to use only natural, organic, and essential oils for my recipes and don't ever like to use any dyes or flavorings to my soaps.

The cinnamon and pumpkin make it so beautiful for fall.  These will be available for purchase on 10/18/2014.
